arts freez my pc when playing a file
Hello I'm using unstable feed of debian And then i try to play file 'http://int.matrixtelecom.net/message.wav' my comp freez and i can do nothing but only hard reset i can play this file with alsa without any problems but then i say 'artsplay message.wav' - it's freez my system arts 1.3.0-1 artsbuilder3.3.0-1 libarts1 1.3.0-1 libarts1-dev 1.3.0-1 libartsc0 1.3.0-1 libartsc0-dev 1.3.0-1 -- Pavel

Can't you just use alsa exclusively? I run Psi sounds through aplay, and multimedia through kaffeine. They mix perfectly. My original comment is not entirely accurate though.
