Same here. KMail shows that there are new messages, but "+" does not jump to a new one, and if I search the folder "manually" I can see, that there are no new messages. Restarting KMail usually fixes the problem, but it seems that the kio_imap slaves are the ones which have to be restarted. > Very weird. Hi again; I've used kdelibs4-dev instead of kdelibs-dev. Maybe you must compile using -d flag. I was unable to do that. kmail seems to require both kdelibs-dev and libpng2-dev to compile, but they conflict with each other. Is anyone able to compile kmail from sid at the moment? This is so frustrating ! We patiently await the release of 3.1 for sid. It is announced and we patiently wait for the packages to arrive through the normal route through the Debian system. Many people of commented that there is no kmail (kdenetwork). If I upgrade to KDE3.1 without kmail, will the kmail from the old version work ? Not likely.
