OK, this looks like a known v4.8 stable regression, caused by the
backport of commit 5d41ce29e3b9 ("net: icmp6_send should use dst dev to
determine L3 domain") introduced in v4.8.10.
Should be fixed by commit 79dc7e3f1cd3 ("net: handle no dst on skb in
icmp6_send") as soon as Debian moves to v4.9

Ubuntu has a nice way to handle this: each kernel upload, triggers the autopkgtestsuite, that is basically a build of reverse-dkms kernel modules, and can't migrate until they are hinted/fixed. I use this as a way to keep vbox in sync with the kernel sources. (you might want to steal the autopkgtestsuite from Ubuntu, britney ignores the results, but they will appear anyway in PTS) G.

Package: src:linux Version: 4.8.11-1 Severity: important Hello, First off, I'll mention that it's quite possible that this was fixed upstream and has made its way to 4.9 based on this thread: https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=90041 However, filing this for reference: in 4.8, the CPU frequency when using the intel_pstate (default) governor appears to stick at 800MHz on at least some devices. Based on the bug report above, many Dell users are affected, even on the latest Dell BIOS. Unnecessary: the default is --build=x86_64-linux-gnux32, and --host
shouldn't be passed when not cross-compiling.
You're probably being misled by config.guess's default, but that's
already overridden appropriately by dpkg/debhelper.
