Bug#960409: The EFI stub does not work.

2020-05-12 Thread Gong S.
-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-
Hash: SHA256

Package: linux-image-5.7.0-rc5-amd64-unsigned
Version: 5.7~rc5-1~exp1

That kernel has dropped to the experimental repo a few hours ago, so I
installed it, regenerated the initrd, and copied them to the ESP, and added an
entry for it.
When booting the kernel, the screen blinked for a moment and booted the next
entry, which basically means that the EFI stub in the new kernel does not work.
The previous version, 5.6.0-1, still boots fine.
The motherboard is an ASRock B450M Pro4 on the latest firmware if that matters.
Linux is the only OS installed and Safe Boot is disabled.
I cannot provide any log files since the UEFI itself does not provide any.

Bug#952446: Please update to latest nfs-utils

2020-05-12 Thread Sergio Gelato
When doing this (or sooner?), please also take over (and absorb)
orphaned package libnfsidmap, the upstream for which was merged
into nfs-utils three years ago.

Bug#960271: PATCH

2020-05-12 Thread Alex Bennée

This patch adds Christian Borntraeger's patch (467d12f5c784) to the
package build. It seemed to build OK following these steps:

  wget https://cdn.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v4.x/linux-4.19.118.tar.xz
  ./debian/bin/genorig.py linux-4.19.118.tar.xz
  make -f debian/rules orig
  make -f debian/rules source
  dpkg-buildpackage

Once I install the package I can build QEMU again.
