Bug#989087: rtw_8822ce and rtw_8821ce: firmware crash
Package: firmware-realtek Version: 20210315-3 Followup-For: Bug #989087 X-Debbugs-Cc: clement.cachi...@gmail.com Dear Maintainer, Google translate: There is probably the same problem as for the rtw_8821ce. The driver works several minutes before crashing for no apparent reason (no relation to a strong use of the connection or a temporal regularity.) The firmware problem has been present since version 5.x of the kernel (I have noticed it on all testing version of bulleyes). The only way to fix the problem is to restart the computer. Attached are the full crash logs. Thanks in advance if you find a solution. Bug#908196: linux-image-4.9.0-8-armmp: Please set CONFIG_LEDS_PCA963X=m
Package: src:linux Followup-For: Bug #908196 -BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hash: SHA512 Control: tags -1 moreinfo Hi Reco, Sorry it took so long to get back to you. Is it still worthwhile to enable this option? Looking at device tree information, the pca963x LED drivers seem to be used only by the Linksys WRT1200AC (pca9635), other devices generally prefer to use GPIO connected LEDs or a different expander (PCA9555, etc.) So if this router does not run on Linux 5.13+, it's probably not worth to enable this option.
