Today there was a kernel update released for Squeeze. After reboot, the bind mounted subdirectory was inaccessible via NFS again, even with Lenny versions of nfs-common and nfs-kernel-server installed. I updated them to Squeeze versions, no improvement. DId some troubleshooting, couldn't get it to work and then took a break to eat. After eating i returned to find that accessing the bind mounted directory now worked!
I've done some testing and it takes exactly 15 minutes (900 seconds) after nfs-kernel-server has been started until I can access the bind mounted subdirectory via the NFS share. I can access the root of the NFS share immediately, but the bind mounted subdirectory won't be accessible for another 15 minutes. /Daniel -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-kernel-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
