please merge 1574dff8996ab1ed92c09012f8038b5566fce313 for 2.6.32 long term
(should also apply for all following long term kernels)

For stable, yes, we'll consider it once it's accepted upstream.  Please
let us know when that happens.


It looks like the patch is now in Linus' git tree.

Commit id is 1574dff8996ab1ed92c09012f8038b5566fce313

It's definitely in the 2.6.39-rc4-git4 patch.

Red Hat has debugged this problem and has provided a patch. I've tested 
the patch on the RHEL6 kernel and it seems to fix the problem.
