Bug#651015: Tests good

2011-12-05 Thread Sean M. Pappalardo

Hello.

I just wanted to mention that I have the same problem with a USB headset
on an Intel Corporation 5 Series/3400 Series Chipset USB2 Enhanced Host
Controller (rev 05) (8086:3b3c) and testing with upstream 3.2.0-rc4
kernel resolves it.

How long until after it becomes latest stable upstream might we see it
in Debian Testing?

(Also, the reply message address for subscribing to bug reports is too
long (username part) and my mail server rejects it, so please make sure
to CC me on replies.)

Sincerely,
Sean M. Pappalardo

We don't have to wait for that, since the fix can be applied to 3.1.

The current version in unstable (3.1.4-1) failed to build on MIPS so
we'll need to make another upload soon which will include this fix. If
*that* builds everywhere and doesn't have a serious regression then it
will go into testing 10 days later. So I would estimate about 2 weeks.

Ben.
