Please show how it produces data loss. Output of fsck will help.

Please remove this out-of-tree modules. This modules are of
questionable quality. We can't and won't support them.

Bastian

Bug#854066: linux-image-4.9.0-1-amd64: Several HP desktops do not wake up anymore since 4.9

2017-02-03 Thread Patrick Matthäi
Package: src:linux
Version: 4.9.2-2
Justification: causes non-serious data loss
Severity: grave

Dear Maintainer,

*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where
appropriate ***

Since we have upgraded several HP desktops (Prodesk G400 G1,G2,G3 and a
Z220 from that I am writing),
the desktops do not wake up anymore if they go into standbye.
I also already tested 4.9.6-3 from unstable, which is also affected.

All PCs do have got the same GPU and they are working fine again if we
switch them back to
linux-image-4.8.0-2-amd64 (4.8.15-2).

I cant find any crash information or debug output to provide more
information about this yet..
