Was there something to reply ? I didn't get the impression that you gave any
valuable reason, and "read again" is not something which i understand as is.

I prefer to abstain from commenting until i get more clear explanations, and i
guess this is similar for others.

Notice though, that apart from you, all those that participated in this
thread where in favour for that move.

Ok, explain me why you want to have it part of the kernel subdir then, if we
are going to empty it of any further content ?

I really don't get why you are opposing this move, so how can we come to any

Well, it can be empty, it was just to have a place to put stuff there in case
we needed it, it could as well go into dists/trunk though.

We don't have anything really common. The versions between stable and
unstable (if applicable) will differ anyway.
