Voire même créer les pages de man françaises à partir de texinfo. Pourquoi vouloir absolument que la traduction soit aussi inutile que l'original alors que l'on dispose de tout ce qu'il faut pour que la page de man française soit correcte (donc mieux que l'original). Si on a le choix entre : 1) une page de man correcte mais pas à jour (situation actuelle) 2) une page de man lamentable, conformément à l'original, mais à jour (future situation) 3) une vraie page de man correcte, juste ET à jour, parce que enrichie par rapport à la page originale (par des explications issues de l'ancienne traduction, par des éléments issus de texinfo) 4) Une traduction fidèle ou améliorée de texinfo mais considérée comme une page de man dans la vesion française (donc correcte et à jour) Les cas 3 et 4 me semblent bien supérieurs au cas 2, lui même supérieur au premier puisque la fidélité à l'original ne doit pas être une obsession. Nous ne traduisons pas une oeuvre littéraire en conservant le style et les insuffisances de l'auteur. Si une explication est mal fichue ou incomplète dans l'original, on doit la corriger pour qu'elle soit claire et exploitable dans la traduction. Mais il y a sûrement de obligations, des contraintes qui m'échappent. Merci en tout cas de ton travail fort utile à tous. Problème de robot ?
Voilà deux fois que j'envoie un mail à la liste et à Gérard Delafond avec des pièces jointes et le robot les ignore superbement. Alors que d'autres mails à la liste, bien postérieurs, sont parvenus depuis longtemps. Savez-vous si le robot refuse certains nom, certains fichiers ou certains volumes qui produiraient cette absence de résultats. Il y a deux pièces jointes une en .gz et l'autre en tar.gz. la plus grosse des deux fait 137ko et un des destinataire est Gérard Delafond.
