Samyak updated andi to its latest upstream release. I reviewed the
changes and pushed them to the repo. Could somepne sponsor an upload [1]?

Some of the build time tests are not *unit* tests at all but verify the
functionality of the whole program. So yeah, these could be ported to
autopkgtest. They would have to compile a small helper program for
generating random sequence first, but I guess that is possible.
