Bug#669565: RFS: gammaray/1.1.0-1 [ITP] -- Tool for examining the internals of Qt application
Hi, Here is a quick review of the package: debian/rules: > .PHONY: override_dh_strip Seems a bit inconsistent to only add dh_strip. > dh $@ Please enable parallel building. > override_dh_auto_test: > # Do not perform test suite as it requires X11 running You can run the tests by build-depending on xvfb and calling xvfb-run dh_auto_test debian/patches/debian-multiarch.patch: This one is not really needed since you can't co-install gammaray for multiple architectures anyway. debian/patches/gammaray-probe-versioned-soname.patch: Why do you set a SONAME for gammaray_probe? When gammaray changes the ABI custom plugins will break anyway since you can't install different versions of gammaray. debian/patches/harfbuzz-search-path.patch: What does this patch do? libqt4-private-dev doesn't contain the harfbuzz headers and that won't change at least until wheezy is released. As far as I know there was no difference in content. I do not know when I regenerated the tarball. However I just reuploaded the package with the original tarball. :-) Thank you, Giulio. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-mentors-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Bug#664669: RFS: moserial/3.0.6-1 [ITP] -- gtk3-based serial terminal
Le mardi 07 août 2012 à 16:07 +, Bart Martens a écrit : > Hi Rodolphe, Hi, > I see that the package at mentors is no longer there. Are you still working > on > this ? Or can this RFS be closed ? Well I don't really working on this package mostly because it look good (to me!) and I didn't get any comments on it until now. I've just upload a refreshed version with the patch that I sent upstream, on gitorious. I'd like to integrate it in debian but I guess freeze is not the best moment for new packages. I plan to contact pkg-gnome's team to see if they can sponsor me but after Wheezy's release. Regards, Rodolphe signature.asc Description: This is a digitally signed message part
Bug#683871: RFS: pyskein/0.7.1-1 [ITP] -- Skein hash for Python3
* Jason Gerard DeRose , 2012-08-08, 23:17: How is this? override_dh_auto_build: sphinx-build -b html doc doc/_build/html set -ex; for python in $(shell py3versions -r); do \ $$python setup.py build \ --executable=/usr/bin/python3; \ done Looks good to me. https://wiki.debian.org/Hardening#dpkg-buildflags Okay, after reading those docs, I got the impression that the most modern/correct way to do this is probably to Build-Depend on debhelper (>= 9.20120417) and use compat=9, so that's what I did. (>= 9) should be enough, shouldn't it? What do you think of using compat=9 here? It's all right. is there anything else you spot that needs work? I noticed this is the build log: /build/pyskein-xIFws6/pyskein-0.7.1/doc_src/index.rst:2: WARNING: Title underline too short.
