Hi and thanks for reply, sorry if I persist:

that script is only an example... I don't want use webmin but build my own.

I've a server with many scripts (root owner) and I'd like build a webgui
to use it from browser but I'm not how do it.

For apache-ssl I'm ok, also auth modules of apache.

cpanel, plesk and other gui panel how interacts with low level
scripts/commands?

libz and uses the system versions.

 I tried to fiddle around with preventing the self made build system to
 try using a locally shipped bz2 library but failed.
