Bug#897238: RFS: intel-mkl/2018.2.199-1 -- ready for review

2018-05-12 Thread Lumin
Hello Mentors and Science Team,

The existing problems previously existing in the package have been
resolved. See the following threads for discussion about the decisions
related to debconf:

https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=897238
https://lists.debian.org/debian-science/2018/04/msg00071.html

I've built and tested the package and it looked good to me.
Does anyone willing to sponsor it?

The packaging repo can be found here:

https://salsa.debian.org/science-team/intel-mkl

And the upstream tarball can be obtained following instructions
in README.Debian.

P.S. Don't perform source-only upload since this is non-free blob.
A source+amd64+i386 upload is needed.

Thanks in advance. :-)

Best,
lumin

Bug#898528: Acknowledgement (RFS: FVWM/1:2.6.7-4 -- F? Virtual Window Manger)

2018-05-12 Thread Jaimos Skriletz
Update: pabs in #debian-mentors suggested I rebase the package off of
the git master branch due to the number of patches (since many of them
had been applied upstream).

Following the suggestion I created a new package with version
1:2.6.7-47-ge760d90a-1 that is based off the current master branch
from git. This new package can also be found at the following link

http://fvwmforums.org/fvwm-2.6.7/

For the most part the two packages are the same, the one based off of
git might contain a few more patches that were applied to master that
I didn't then copy over to the fvwm 1:2.6.7-4 package. Fvwm has very
little development (mostly bug fixes) and so has not made another
release, and I'm unsure when (or if) a new release will be made.
