Bug#946965: RFS: sendmail/8.15.2-16 [QA] -- powerful, efficient, and scalable Mail Transport Agent (metapackage)

(Closes: #945773) * libmilter-dev: Add milter.pc metadata file to enable pkg-config support. (Closes: #945797) Regarding #945797, please ignore my previous messages over at the BTS. I have now learnt Debian packaging basics and have studied the sendmail build, so I’m now in a better position to propose a patch. I think the solution here for including a new milter.pc file is quite straightforward. Unfortunately there is a bit of noise, because I had to execute the target refresh-debian-configure in debian/rules to have milter.pc.in processed properly and included in the build. But the two changes themselves are small. Thank you!

Salsa repository request (dbab)
Hi, I am currently preparing a new version for the 'dbab' packages [0]. I would like to create a packaging repository for it in the Debian group on Salsa this time [1], but I don't have the necessary permissions on Salsa to create it myself. So, could somebody please create it for me and give me, suntong-guest, maintenance access? Thank you! Best regards, tong [0] https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/dbab [1] https://salsa.debian.org/debian

The changelog is missing an important entry: getting rid of cdbs. That's a large change that should be noted -- but, getting rid of the blighter is so nice that I uploaded as-is. Hrm, my script for automating bindebdiffs doesn't handle appearing/disappearing binaries well, making them easy to miss. And I didn't notice that bit. Thus: it's fit for re-upload, but generally, it's best for a package for NEW, even binNEW, to be in a good shape (rather than small incremental changes which I prefer), thus I wonder if you'd like to polish at least the changelog first. In which, mentioning other removed/added binaries is another important bit. Thanks for taking a look at it. I was actually confused with the names. The previous package coinor-libdylp0 provides "/usr/lib/libDylp.so.0" linking to "/usr/lib/libDylp.so.0.0.0" and I think that is the reason the package was named with a '0'. But the version was wrong. It should have been named "/usr/lib/libDylp.so.1.6.0" and the package name should have had a '1' instead of '0'. But anyway, do you think I should keep the name as "coinor-libdylp0" instead of moving to "coinor-libdylp1" based on my above mentioned understanding? While polishing it, I think I will also push it to salsa, that will also fix two other lintian warnings. -- Regards Sudip
