Good point, thank you. I've updated the salsa repo and also re-uploaded
to mentors (should be visible shortly). I had to add an 
"uversionmangle=s/-rc/~rc/"
to make "0.9-rc4" match with "0.9~rc4", not sure whether you were expecting
something more complicated than that.

import-orig --uscan --pristine-tar`.
When you have to redo it, reset the branch and `gbp pristine-tar commit 
...orig.tar.gz`.

The debian directory is not available in the repo anymore, so I am closing this 
RFS.
Please reopen or file a new one when the dependencies are in unstable and you
