My /debian/rules contains: export DEB_BUILD_MAINT_OPTIONS = hardening=+all Nevertheless I always get the lintian error "hardening-no-fortify- functions" How can I fix that? By making sure that LDFLAGS, CPPFLAGS and CFLAGS set by dpkg are used in to your build.
