I thought about that myself, but didn't because the upstream package is
named lastfmlib (i believe there's another project named liblastfm..). I
renamed the source package, binaries unchanged for now...

Updated package available in the collab-maint git repo, let me know if
you want me to upload to mentors instead.

I know, he gave me the real link for the tarball, but as long as the web
server don't allow directory listings, it won't help in finding the
latest source. I'll ask him again, to enable it, alternatively ul to sf.net.

get-orig-source or watch file

2011-05-01 Thread Andreas Noteng
-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-
Hash: SHA256

I need a get-orig-source rule that can download a tarball from
a website that does not allow directory listings, and where the
dl link is in the form of:
http://example.com/index.php?s=file_download&id=18";>PackageName
1.0.0

Can anyone help me with a rule for this? I'm thinking curl and sed, but
currently
this is beyond my capabilities.

RFS: BashBurn

2011-03-13 Thread Andreas Noteng
-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-

Dear mentors,

I am looking for a sponsor for my package "bashburn".

* Package name: bashburn
  Version : 3.0.1-1
  Upstream Author : Anders Lindén
* URL : http://bashburn.dose.se/
* License : GPL-2
  Section : utils

It builds these binary packages:
bashburn - A utility to simplify cd/dvd burning at the command line

The package appears to be lintian clean.

The upload would fix these bugs: 497092

My motivation for maintaining this package is: I think this is a neat
application that deserves a place in debian.

I know this package is missing a watch file, but I'm unable to create
one. If anybody could help me with that It'd be greatly appreciated. The
web server that holds the files does not permit directory listings, and
the URL on the download page does not contain any version info.

The package can be found on mentors.debian.net:
- - URL: http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/b/bashburn
- - Source repository: deb-src http://mentors.debian.net/debian unstable
main contrib non-free
- - dget
http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/b/bashburn/bashburn_3.0.1-1.dsc

I would be glad if someone uploaded this package for me.

Kind regards

2011-03-13 Thread Andreas Noteng

Dear mentors,

I am looking for a sponsor for my package "liblastfmlib".

* Package name: liblastfmlib
  Version : 0.4.0-1
  Upstream Author : Dirk Vander Boer
* URL : http://code.google.com/p/lastfmlib/

  Section : libs

It builds these binary packages:

v1.2
liblastfmlib1 - An implementation of the Last.Fm Submissions Protocol v1.2

The package appears to be lintian clean.

The upload would fix these bugs: 610356

My motivation for maintaining this package is: Including this package in
Debian will make it possible to rebuild the mediatomb package with
last.fm scrobbling support. This is my 3rd attempt at getting a sponsor
for this package, but as squeeze is now released, I'm thinking I have a
better chance.

I've renamed the package. It's available on mentors here:

Can I just ssh in and delete the folder to get rid of the old package in

RFS: lastfmlib

2011-02-12 Thread Andreas Noteng
-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-
Hash: SHA256

Dear mentors,

I am looking for a sponsor for my package "lastfmlib".

* Package name: lastfmlib
  Version : 0.4.0-1
  Upstream Author : Dirk Vander Boer
* URL : http://code.google.com/p/lastfmlib/
* License : GPL-2
  Section : libs

It builds these binary packages:
lastfmlib-dev - An implementation of the Last.Fm Submissions Protocol v1.2
lastfmlib1 - An implementation of the Last.Fm Submissions Protocol v1.2

The package appears to be lintian clean.

The upload would fix these bugs: 610356

My motivation for maintaining this package is: Packaging this library in
Debian will make it possible to rebuild mediatomb with support for
Last.Fm scrobbling.

The package can be found on mentors.debian.net:
- - URL: http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/l/lastfmlib
- - Source repository: deb-src http://mentors.debian.net/debian unstable
main contrib non-free
- - dget
http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/l/lastfmlib/lastfmlib_0.4.0-1.dsc

I would be glad if someone uploaded this package for me.

Btw, I read somewhere that library packages should be named lib*,
liblastfmlib sounds kind of funny to me though..?

Kind regards
 Andreas Noteng

Sorry about that, forgot to bzr commit before building the source package.

Thanks for the patch, added.

Allready requested a fix upstream, should be fixed for the next release.

Fixed.

Don't remember, whichever reason it was, is not valid anymore. Removed.

RFS: transgui

2010-10-12 Thread Andreas Noteng
Dear mentors,

I am looking for a sponsor for my package "transgui".

* Package name: transgui
  Version : 2.1.1-1
  Upstream Author : Yury Sidorov
* URL : http://code.google.com/p/transmisson-remote-gui/
* License : GPL-2
  Section : net

It builds these binary packages:
transgui - A front-end to remotely control Transmission

The package appears to be lintian clean.

The upload would fix this bug: 586507

My motivation for maintaining this package is: I really love the
program, and use it every day. I think it is a great alternative to
transmission's web-interface. I've done minor (non-coding) contribs
upstream too.

The package can be found on mentors.debian.net:
- URL: http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/t/transgui
- Source repository: deb-src http://mentors.debian.net/debian unstable
main contrib non-free
- dget
http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/t/transgui/transgui_2.1.1-1.dsc

I would be glad if someone uploaded this package for me.
Please CC me any replies to the list.

Kind regards
 Andreas Noteng
