A few notes:
 - the Standards-Version you're specifying is outdated, see
   /usr/share/doc/debian-policy/upgrading-checklist.txt.gz
 - you're using dh compat 9 and manually enabling --parallel,
   if you upgraded to dh compat 10 you'd get that by default.
 - The package fails to build for me. Removing/disabling
   --parallel makes the package build. See attached build log.

Failing to build from source is obviously a blocker issue, thus
tagging moreinfo.

Please consider either fixing the upstream build system to
work correctly when building in parallel or (explicitly?)
disable parallel building. Please remove the moreinfo tag
when you have this issue resolved.
