OTOH there is nothing wrong with binary files that come with a proper license/copyright and can be recreated by available tools with a documented procedure. So if you want my recommendation: go for the larger build-deps and text files for your orig.tar.gz. Compiling Qt translation files
Hello! I just got my `retext' package accepted. Currently the orig tarball includes compiled binary arch-independent .qm files (but I can easily change this, since I'm the upstream author too). Will it be better if I provide .ts text-format source for translations and compile them during build? This will add a big build-dependency on Qt. - Dmitry Shachnev (http://qa.debian.org/developer.php?login=mitya57%40gmail.com) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-mentors-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
