RFS: bulletml (updated package)

2008-01-28 Thread Peter De Wachter
Dear mentors,

I am looking for a sponsor for the new version 0.0.6-3 of my package
"bulletml". This library is used by most of Kenta Cho's games
(rrootage, torus-trooper, ...)

It builds these binary packages:
libbulletml-dev - C++ library to handle BulletML easily - development files
libbulletml0d1 - C++ library to handle BulletML easily - runtime library

The package appears to be lintian clean.

The upload would fix these bugs:
455131: fix build with GCC 4.3
443718, 52: add missing dependency (which was causing rrootage to FTBFS)

The package can be found on mentors.debian.net:
- URL: http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/b/bulletml
- Source repository: deb-src http://mentors.debian.net/debian unstable main
contrib non-free
- dget
http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/b/bulletml/bulletml_0.0.6-3.dsc

I would be glad if someone uploaded this package for me.

Kind regards
 Peter De Wachter

As a general remark, there are many packages maintained in this team,
and additional sponsors wouldn't hurt.

For this particular package, that looks like a nice idea.

Cheers,

This looks quite good to me (except too much Japanese, which is giving
me headache :).

Anyway I'm wondering, as part of the Game Team, don't you have an usual
sponsor? Did you ask him before mailing -mentors?
As I see this is usually maintained by Miriam, and she has DM
privilege, wouldn't be better for you both if she does the upload and
set the DM-Allowed field?

Anyway, I'll be glad to sponsor this, but you have to change the
XS-Vcs fields removing the XS- prefix (as it is now official).

Next time please check it with lintian, which will tell you what need
to be updated.

Yep, I agree, I'll add that tag in SVN, thanks :)

Greetings,

Normally I would have let Miriam handle the upload but I couldn't
reach her and the bugs were getting pretty old, so I decided to try
the mentors route.

I've uploaded a new version with that change done. Miriam also added
the DM-Allowed field.

Hmm. I didn't know about the -I switch.

Kind regards
