OK, so I released 2.006, which fixes a few bugs and will make CLISP happier.

Uploaded to mentors.

Milan (or another DD), can you check the package and upload it?

I'm not sure the release date so I upload 7.4 first. Once you puts a
new cl-asdf into squeeze, I'll follow.

Actually, there are a few bug fixes upstream, and if there's a cut off
date before which to issue 2.006 so it may be part of the next stable,
I can advance the release of it (which otherwise would be
mid-september).

I'm going to upload c-l-c 7.4 to squeeze, it must depend on cl-asdf
2.004 (current version in squeeze). I will upgrade the dependency in
the next release.

Note that if you upgrade c-l-c, you'll probably want a matching recent
asdf (2.005 is best), and a cl-launch that works with it (3.001).
Recent c-l-c will NOT work with an older asdf, and older cl-launch
will not work with newer asdf. They are very small self-contained
programs without anyone else depending on them, so it should be pretty
safe.

Well Idea is to have nothing in sid that is not intended for the
release in preparation (squeeze at the moment) so the way upload to sid
-> package is tested there -> package goes to testing is always open if
fixes are needed later, For stuff that is not going to be in squeeze
might be better to upload to experimental.

I do read that through gmane from time to time but generally would
be better to Cc me as it's quite likely I'll miss it otherwise.

Christoph

Not specific to squeeze. You may upload it into sid first, although I
will contact the release team to request a freeze exception.

I guess this is targeted at squeeze? Have you contacted the release
team already? If not please mail them and explain why you should get a
freeze exception (looks like that should not be a problem to me). If you
have the confirmation from -release I'll upload.

RFS: common-lisp-controller (updated package)

2010-08-19 Thread Desmond O. Chang
Dear mentors,

I am looking for a sponsor for the new version 7.4
of my package "common-lisp-controller".

It builds these binary packages:
common-lisp-controller - Common Lisp source and compiler manager

The package appears to be lintian clean.

The upload would fix these bugs: 593157

The package can be found on mentors.debian.net:
- URL: http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/c/common-lisp-controller
- Source repository: deb-src http://mentors.debian.net/debian unstable
main contrib non-free
- dget
http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/c/common-lisp-controller/common-lisp-controller_7.4.dsc

I would be glad if someone uploaded this package for me.

Kind regards
 Desmond O. Chang
