My bad, maybe it's 32bit only? 32bit builds are not done > upstream anymore and so they might miss stuff... I could not reproduce this problem on a i686 laptop belonging to my family with 6.3.3 nor with 6.4.0~rc1-3. XFCE as desktop environment, "2x Genuine Intel T2050" as cpu and graphics identifying as "Intel Mobile 945GM/GMS, 943/940GML Express Integrated Graphics Controller" run by fully upgraded 'unstable' environment. I am happy to recheck with a test document if need be (please CC me in that case). Coloring text (although in Calc) is something my family does quite frequently, so if that wouldn't work I would never hear the end of it and are hence certain it isn't a general i386 problem… 😉 Best regards David Kalnischkies signature.asc Description: PGP signature

And I don*t get it either in 6.3.4-2~bpo10+1 on stable (gt3/GNOME) nor in a testing... That said, I *of course* only tested on amd64 and just happened to see > Architecture: i386 (i686) in your report. My bad, maybe it's 32bit only? 32bit builds are not done upstream anymore and so they might miss stuff... I should create a i386 VM I guess... Any reason you stick to this (imho obsolete) architecture? Your PC should be able to run amd64? Regards, Rene
