FLOSS VOIP Client Software
Hello fellow debian users, I am trying to look for a decent FLOSS VOIP software that allows me to communicate to Windows/Mac users. Skype is out of the question since it does not even support Debian PPC (which I have). I have heard of Ekiga. How is that? Does that work with Windows/Mac users using Skype clients? What do you guys use? Any information will be very helpful. Thanks, Amit -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
icedove 2.0.0.9-3 seriously broken
Hi All, Just wanted to warn anyone with a testing install to beware of the current (2.0.0.9-3) icedove. It is broken (bug 461981) and an immediate downgrade to the previous version (1.5) didn't work. So I'm doing a somewhat contorted dance to do email for awhile, at least until it is fixed. I'm trying a local build of icedove, but fear that that may be wishful thinking. (It is also one very large build, requires more than 1GB of disk space...still don't know the upper limit.) -jeff -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? I'm still bothered with the fact that the mic on pb5,7 is still out. I recon no one is doing any work to get it fixed since it's kind a old, ever since intel happended. kphone works. of course for my part, I cant talk back. What do you guys use? Well icedove 2.0.0.9-3 is really seriously broken on powerpc - it does not start anymore - see #460406 and #460172. Kind regards, Marko -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
