Did you try

"/usr/sbin/ybin"

after chrooting into /dev/disc0/. ?

Please try to generate a simple yaboot.conf with

"/usr/sbin/yabootconfig"

(I believe yabootconfig is the correct spelling. If not, change  
appropriate.)


Then you can edit /etc/yaboot.conf as you need.
