Bug#654017: Updating the foo2zjs Uploaders list

2012-01-01 Thread Ricardo Mones
Package: foo2zjs
Version: 20111202dfsg0-1
Severity: minor
User: m...@qa.debian.org
Usertags: mia-teammaint

Michael Koch has not been working on
the foo2zjs package for quite some time.

We are tracking their status in the MIA team and would like to ask you
to remove them from the Uploaders list of the package so we can close
that part of the file.

(If the person is listed as Maintainer, what we are asking is to please
step in as a new maintainer.)

Thanks.

There's no hurry, I'll hold off for now if there's still a hope to have
something come from upstream in the not too distant future. Thanks!

Cheers,
Julien

A QA upload would be fine to do.

Note that I took this back up with upstream today. There's also a
new upstream release pending, so the fix could go into that, but if
you want to upload in the interim, please feel free.

So would the following make sense then? It seems there's been 0
followup to your upstream report, so I'm happy to do a QA upload with
that patch if you think it's ok (I don't have a printer, so can't test
this either)... Another option is to remove gutenprint and photoprint
from wheezy.

Orphaning of gutenprint

2012-01-01 Thread Roger Leigh
Hi folks,

Just a reminder that gutenprint is orphaned (#479397), and that it
needs a maintainer. There will be a new stable release in a week
or so, and I'll set the maintiner to packa...@qa.debian.org unless
anyone wishes to adopt it.

I'm happy to continue as a co-maintainer, but I don't have the time
or hardware to maintain, debug and bugfix.

Thanks,
Roger
