Seems the error can be reduced to this:

  apt install doc-rfc-old-std
  zcat /usr/share/doc/RFC/links/rfc1247.ps.gz | ps2txt > /dev/null

Bug#970878: ghostscript breaks doc-rfc autopkgtest: segmentation fault

Dear maintainer(s),

With a recent upload of ghostscript the autopkgtest of doc-rfc fails in
testing when that autopkgtest is run with the binary packages of
ghostscript from unstable. It passes when run with only packages from
testing. In tabular form:

   passfail
ghostscriptfrom testing9.53.1~dfsg-2
doc-rfcfrom testing20191026-1
versioned deps [0] from testingfrom unstable
all others from testingfrom testing

I copied some of the output at the bottom of this report.

Currently this regression is blocking the migration of ghostscript to
testing [1]. Due to the nature of this issue, I filed this bug report
against both packages. Can you please investigate the situation and
reassign the bug to the right package?

More information about this bug and the reason for filing it can be found on
https://wiki.debian.org/ContinuousIntegration/RegressionEmailInformation

[0] You can see what packages were added from the second line of the log
file quoted below. The migration software adds source package from
unstable to the list if they are needed to install packages from
ghostscript/9.53.1~dfsg-2. I.e. due to versioned dependencies or
breaks/conflicts.

cups-filters 1.28.3 released!

2020-09-24 Thread Till Kamppeter

Hi,

I have released cups-filters 1.28.3 now, with the following changes:

- libcupsfilters, cups-browsed: Fixed inconsistency between
resolvers for DNS-SD-based URIs, resolve_uri() and
ippfind_based_uri_converter(). Now both return a freeable
  string.
- libcupsfilters: Fix uninitialized buffer and parsing ippfind
  output in ippfind_based_uri_converter() function (Issue
  #308, Pull request #309).

Bug fix release to sove problems caused by an inconsistency between the
resolvers for DNS-SD-based URIs

I will upload this to Ubuntu today.

OdyX is on vacation until October 5. Feel free to do an NMU upload in
Debian if these fixes are urgently needed.
