Nothing, the page http://get.debian.net still installs gNewsense.

Could you *please* point it to the official Debian win32-loader?

Best direct such questions at the maintainer of the site (CCed).

ok, I confused goodbye-windows and goodbye-microsoft. Thanks for the
pointer.

The goodbye-windows.com site could use a big friendly „Click here to
install Debian“ button, linking directly to the installer. I’m CC’ing
the supposed site owner.

I agree with pabs that this could be put in a more official place.

Greetings,
Joachim

Maybe, but we feel like calling it “Gee, nonsense”.

@d-boot: Am I right that the file win32-loader.exe from win32-loader is
all that is required to install Debian? Or does does it require
adjustments before it can be used?

@get.debian.net: Maybe you want to host the installer directly?

Or even better, this installation method could be added to
http://www.debian.org/distrib/?

Greetings,
Joachim

Perhaps you missed the beginning of this thread? get.d.n uses
goodbye-windows.com, which now installs gNewsense instead of Debian.

Nope. It is/was goodbye-microsoft.com which is now used by
gNewsnonsense. get.d.n offers currently no win32-loader, but I've no
idea when they stopped it.

I stand corrected. I wasn't aware of goodbye-windows.com or that
get.d.n stopped pointing at goodbye-microsoft.com.

In any case, external sites are clearly the wrong place to put any
Windows-based installer for Debian.

BTW, gNewSense is the correct spelling of the GNU derivative of Ubuntu/Debian.

Nice All Fools Day joke, but unfortunately off by 10 days.

The download link for the Windows installer points to site
