RFS: hvac/0.5.0-1

2018-03-18 Thread Gregor Riepl
Hi,

I'd like to request sponsorship for the hvac Python module.

Source package: hvac
Packages: python-hvac, python3-hvac
Version 0.5.0-1
Upstream: https://github.com/ianunruh/hvac
Salsa: https://salsa.debian.org/python-team/modules/hvac
Mentors: https://mentors.debian.net/package/hvac

This package contains a client library for interacting with Hashicorp Vault.
It is particularly useful for Ansible, and this is also the reason why I
packaged Python 2 and 3 versions (Ansible does not support Python 3 yet).

I will gladly accept maintainership, but as a non-DD, support from the team is
appreciated.
Please review and upload the package.

Thanks,
Greg

Request to join the PAPT

2018-03-18 Thread Pierre-Elliott Bécue
Hi,

After hanging around a lot in DPMT, I'm currently packaging an app that
henceforth would definitely find its place into PAPT namespace on salsa.

I'll commit myself to follow the PAPT policy. :)

My salsa login is peb-guest

Thanks and cheers!

It's far easier to fight for one's principles than to live up to them.

Bug#893414: ITP: flatlatex -- A LaTeX math converter to unicode text

2018-03-18 Thread Pierre-Elliott Bécue
Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist
Owner: =?utf-8?q?Pierre-Elliott_B=C3=A9cue?=

* Package name: flatlatex
  Version : 0.6
  Upstream Author : Jean-Benoist Leger
* URL : https://gitlab.crans.org/leger/flatlatex
* License : BSD-2
  Programming Lang: Python3
  Description : A LaTeX math converter to unicode text

flatlatex is a basic converter from LaTeX math to human readable text
math using unicode characters. Some people tend to require such tool to
inline small equations in emails or on instant messaging clients, thus
avoiding unreadable garbage or to send a pdf link.

Although there are online solutions (I'll not make any advertisement so
far, you're free to look for them), a command-line local solution would
potentially be useful to one.

I'll maintain the package inside Python Apps Packaging Team.

Cheers,
