Yes please.

Quite a few packages carry Conflicts or Replaces with

 python2.4-MODULE or
 python2.3-MODULE or sometimes even
 pythonX.Y-MODULE for X.Y 2.3.

Not only such packages are long gone, but it's very unlikely that the file
conflict that was the reason to add these Conflict/Replaces actually still
occur. Please consider dropping these obsolete relations from your packages.

Would anyone mind if I made a mass-commit to drop them from the packages
 (co-)maintained by DPMT?

Hi Arnaud,

Thanks for your quick response.

debian/copyright file did not had debian's copyright information previously.
I haven't replaced it, i have added, also it says that you had initially
created the package.
But currently maintainer is Jan Lubbe.

so i am happy to add Jan Lubbe :).

Thanks
Deepak

Great, thanks much for stepping up as uploaders! Jan Lübbe seems quite
busy unfortunately. The changes you did look fine, but I have the
 following minor comments:

 - Why did you bump debhelper version from 5 to 7?

 - Could you please add the previous maintainers for the Debian package
  license?

Also, I think it would be a good idea to use '3.0 (quilt)' for the
source format. I will build and upload it this WE if it's ok for you.

 Cheers,

RFS: pyodbc

2010-02-05 Thread Deepak Tripathi
Dear mentors,

I am looking for a sponsor for my package pyodbc.

Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist
Version: 2.1.6
Upstream Author: Michael Kleehammer
URL: http://pyodbc.sourceforge.net/
License: MIT/X
Description: A Python DB API 2 module for ODBC. No 3rd party libraries
are required. Only native Python datatypes are used, such as decimal
and datetime.

The package appears to be lintian clean.

The upload would fix these bugs: 455266

The package can be found on svn:

- svn+ssh://svn.debian.org/svn/python-modules/packages/pyodbc/trunk/

I would be glad if someone uploaded this package for me.

Kind regards
 Deepak Tripathi
