RFS python-udatetime/0.0.11-1 [ITP]

2016-11-04 Thread Ilias Tsitsimpis
Hello team,

Could someone please review/sponsor my package "python-udatetime"?

The udatetime module offers faster datetime object instantiation,
serialization and deserialization of RFC3339 date-time strings, than
Python's datatime module.

This package offers both a Python 2 and Python 3 library.

I plan to maintain this within the DPMT team, and have already created
the corresponding git repo[1].

I have also uploaded the package on mentors[2].

Regards,
Ilias

Request to join DPMT

2016-07-08 Thread Ilias Tsitsimpis
Hi,

I would like to join the DPMT. I recently adopted the
python-subprocess32 package[1], which is maintained within the team,
and I would like to keep it that way.

Currently, I am a DM and my alioth account username is iliastsi-guest.
I've read the DPMT policy[2] and I accept it.

Thanks,

RFS: python-httplib2 -- fix of #794750

2015-09-06 Thread Ilias Tsitsimpis
Hello team,

The latest version of the python-oauth2client package depends on
httplib2 (>=0.9.1), but the current version of python-httplib2 on
Debian is 0.9 [#794312].

This makes Python applications that depends on python-oauth2client (such
as goobook [#797068]) break. Although I agree that this is a bug in the
python-oauth2client package, it seems to me that the easiest way to
resolve this is by updating the python-httplib2 package to its latest
version [#794750].

I have packaged the latest version of httplib2 (0.9.1) and uploaded it
to mentors.dn [dsc]. This is a minor update over version 0.9 (which is
the current version on Debian) so it should not break any packages that
depends on it.

Could someone sponsor my package as a team upload or should I do a NMU?

Thanks,
Ilias
