Hello,

It would be nice if you provide a debian/watch file on your next upload.
The DEHS' watch wizard has generated a watch file[1] which seems to work just
fine.
Although the reported version and the file name appears to match the package's
name I recommend you to remove unneeded stuff from the generated watch file.

Package: exifprobe
Version: 2.0.1-1
Severity: normal
Tags: patch

exifgrep does not escape patterns passed to egrep properly, leading to
completely wrong behaviour because they are mis-interpreted as glob patterns
by the shell.

Commandline:

 cd /tmp; echo f  .foo; exifgrep '.*' ~/lib/pics/rl/2010-09-11/P1000944.JPG

Expected output:

FileName = /home/derf/lib/pics/rl/2010-09-11/P1000944.JPG
FileType = JPEG
FileSize = 4667969
JPEG.APP1 = @2:32156
[...]

Actual output:

..X0-lock: 954
..foo:f

The attached patch should fix this.

Long description:
Exifprobe reads image files produced by digital cameras (including
several so-called raw file formats) and reports the structure of
the files and the auxiliary data and metadata contained within
them. In addition to TIFF, JPEG, and EXIF, the program understands
several formats which may contain raw camera data, including MRW,
CIFF/CRW, JP2/JPEG2000, RAF, and X3F, as well as most most
TIFF-derived raw formats, including DNG, ORF, CR2, NEF,

Bug#766965: debsources: RSS/Atom feed of data changes

2014-10-27 Thread Stefano Zacchiroli
Package: qa.debian.org
Severity: wishlist
User: qa.debian@packages.debian.org
Usertags: debsources

Debsources should offer a parseable feed of changes to its dataset (package
addition, removal, suite changes, etc). RSS/Atom is the most natural format to
use here. Implementing this will need a bit of design work on the type and
granularity of events to support.

Cheers.

Bug#766967: debsources: refactoring - make web UI parts conditional on plugin enablement

2014-10-27 Thread Stefano Zacchiroli
Package: qa.debian.org
Severity: normal
User: qa.debian@packages.debian.org
Usertags: debsources

Various parts of Debsources UI should really be exposed only if specific
plugins are enabled, e.g., ctags-based search, sloccount statistics, etc. The
way to go about this with Flask are pluggable views
http://flask.pocoo.org/docs/latest/views/

To proper implement this, we will probably need to improve the plugin API,
which is at present rather thin.

Cheers.

Bug#766968: debsources: test suite - differentiate sid and jessie

2014-10-27 Thread Stefano Zacchiroli
Package: qa.debian.org
Severity: minor
User: qa.debian@packages.debian.org
Usertags: debsources

Debsources test suite spans several Debian releases/suites. However, at present
sid and jessie in the test suite are made of exactly the same packages. This is
suboptimal and might hide errors.

We should add/remove packages to one or the other, to ensure the two sets of
packages are different. This will probably break some tests, that will need to
be fixed accordingly.

Cheers.

Bug#767024: tracker.debian.org: Reports wrong new upstream for a native package

2014-10-27 Thread Stephan Sürken
Package: tracker.debian.org
Severity: normal

Dear maintainers,

strangely, (old and new) PTS report a new upstream for the
mini-buildd package:

https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/mini-buildd

First, it reports '1.0.0~alpha.8' as new although '1.0.5' is
currently in unstable. Second, it imho should not report new
upstream versions anyway as it is a native package.

Or is there anything I can (need to?) do in the source package
to set this straight?

Thx!

Stephan

NMU for rsnapshot-1.3.1-5.1

2014-10-27 Thread Guillaume Delacour
Hi,

This is a second email to contact you about a Non Maintainer Upload for
rsnapshot 1.3.1-5.1 (first is
1413919144.31970.3.ca...@yamcha.kamehouse.iroqwa.org the 2014-10-21
@21:19:09). You've uploaded rsnapshot the 2014-10-21 @21:44 [1] (and
unless i'm wrong without using DELAYED queue) and maybe not seen my
previous mail to ask you why are you doing some changes.

Your NMU fix a whishlist bug [2], introduce a different strategy to
launch rsnapshot (/etc/cron.d/{hourly,daily,weekly,monthly}) which
launch the cron twice as reported by users [3] and a
new /etc/default/rsnapshot file [4].
You also include my git changes which are incomplete (i've other tasks
not pushed, but too late), and the patch
debian/patches/14_rsync_rsh_quoting.diff, even not included upstream,
could close #717451.

I'm not against collaboration, but i would like to discuss this kind of
changes and finish my pending work on the package before anyone else do
something before an upload.

As the freeze is close (even yesterday for sid), i'll revert all changes
related to #523923, including /etc/cron.{daily,hourly,monthly,weekly}
and /etc/default/rsnapshot.
