Considering your alacrity in complaining to -devel about our slow response, I find it amusing that you haven't answered this query yet! :) I've tagged the bug unreproducible, for the reasons mentioned above. At some point it'll have to be closed or reassigned elsewhere. Ping? -- Colin Watson [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? xcoral 1:3.40-2 deb pkg problem/bug
I installed xcoral yesterday evening and noticed the following error: update-alternatives: unable to make /usr/man/man1/editor.1.gz.dpkg-tmp a symlink to /etc/alternatives/editor.1.gz: No such file or directory It seems a file was forgotten. To be honest, if that were the only problem I might not have written you. However, the same problem seems to be interfering with dpkg and apt-get functionality as well. according to dpkg -s xcoral: Package: xcoral Status: purge ok half-configured But when I try to remove it: rayuela:/home/zielot# dpkg -P --force-all xcoral (Reading database ... 53323 files and directories currently installed.)
