After much frustration and being unable to get the PLAIN IndentMode in m_py.fte to generate tabs and verifying that a file opened in PLAIN mode did generate tabs, I compared it to m_html.fte and commented out the options in m_py.fte that weren't in m_html.fte. I left one option active in m_py.fte: Trim= 1; and I was still getting spaces instead of tabs. After commenting out this line and recompiling the configuration, the tabs worked as I expected. Per the documention, the Trim parameter is supposed to remove trailing white spaces from lines. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.4.26-1-686 Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages fte depends on: ii fte-console 0.50.0-1.1 Text editor for console (no I18N s ii fte-xwindow 0.50.0-1.1 Text editor for X Window System wi ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-18 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libgcc1 1:3.4.3-6GCC support library ii libstdc++5 1:3.3.4-13 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 -- no debconf information ---End Message--- ---BeginMessage--- On Tue, 21 Feb 2012 15:10:21 -0600 Nate Bargmann n...@n0nb.us wrote: I no longer use the FTE editor so this report may be closed for my part. - Nate As you are the submitter of the bug report and the only person to have commented on it, there seems little point keeping the bug open. are there any debian-specific libreoffice Impress template package ?
Hi all, Is there a collection of libreoffice Impress template package ? Which has collection of templates which could be used to make presentations about Debian ? I do know that there are quite a few templates in the wild but it would be nice if there was something within the Debian 's archive too. -- Regards, Shirish Agarwal शिरीष अग्रवाल My quotes in this email licensed under CC 3.0 http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/3.0/ http://flossexperiences.wordpress.com 065C 6D79 A68C E7EA 52B3 8D70 950D 53FB 729A 8B17 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-qa-packages-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Re: Bug#631019: HDF5 transition from version 1.8.6 = 1.8.8

And now hdf5 1.8.8 is finally in wheezy. This is not completely over yet, as libhdf5-lam-1.8.4 is still in testing with some reverse dependencies, and as I had to remove some other packages from testing to make progress. Specifically, from a quick look at least these packages still need fixing in testing: - libgpiv (unfixed in sid) - hdf-eos5 (should be ok tomorrow) - jhdf (out of date on kfreebsd-* in sid) - mpb (should be ok tomorrow) - pytables (ftbfs in sid) - tessa (ftbfs in sid) And the following ones were (hopefully temporarily) removed: - gnudatalanguage - plplot - sdpa - ruby-hdfeos5 - petsc - slepc - getdp - illuminator - minc - gmsh - caret - cl-plplot - gpiv - gpivtools - octave-bim octave-msh If you maintain one of those packages and need help getting them back in testing feel free to contact debian-release.
