CVS commit by rnolden:

update the stuff.

Ben: as written in my other email, the generation of manpages in scripts/
disabled
for now until we have sorted out which apps need manpages generated and add that
to the Makefile.am.

reassign 203863 kcontrol
thanks

The Theme Manager is removed from KDE 3.2, so its bugs will be gone
too.

Bug#207130: Bug#207126: docbook-to-man conversion ?

2003-12-31 Thread Ben Burton

Well, docbook is preferred by some people. But all we're doing is
converting them straight back to nroff, so I see no problem if an author
simply provides nroff in the first place. It's just as easy to read and
edit.

Btw, I think I recall someone making this comment about your manpage
generator - I interpreted it as a feature request, not a serious bug.

Happy new year. :)

Ben.

Hello,

Ok, so should I rewrite the manpages using docbook-to-man or is it ok ?

If you have the time, it would be useful, I think, yes. But it will
probably be a lot of work, so you should decide if you think it's
useful.

Well, remember when I wrote that manpage generator script. IIRC, it
was said that it wasn't really useful because docbook style manpages
were preferred...

Bug#200493: konsole: first instance appears on the wrong virtual desktop

2003-12-31 Thread Christian Schoenebeck
Hi!

It *should* appear on the desktop which is currently displayed (assuming a
single screen system), on a system with multiple "real" screens this would
most probably be the desktop containing the mouse, but as I only have a
single screen system I can't say if this problem also occurs on such a
system.

Hope that clarified it.
