Bug#240388: kate: Paste into terminal gives garbage
Package: kate Version: 4:3.2.1-1 Severity: normal When I paste a large amount of selected text from kate into a terminal window (where I'm doing something like "cat > myfile") using the middle mouse button, I get some garbage in between. Bug#240188: Package dependencies violate policy
> "Riku" == Riku Voipio <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> writes: Riku> are you really going to file a RC bug against all of these? In an admittedly unscientific sampling of those reports, all the ones I looked at were for dependencies on xlibs-dev. I would expect such issues to be fixed as packages were recompiled for whatever reason. Should they continue beyond the next release then yes, I will happily file serious bugs against all such instances. Re: Bug#236771: krdc bug :)
The workaround I discovered is to put krdc into "Fullscreen mode". When it is in fullscreen, I can send keyboard input to the remote machine. When it's not in fullscreen, I can't. xlibs-static-pic issue
I think I am going to remove the xlibs-static-pic dependency from libarts1-dev. It technically isn't needed and now that Xinerama isn't linked in anymore isn't really needed by default for all kde sources anymore either. Anyone that does patch in the pic libs needs to build depend on it specifically. Also, it is probably a good idea if you happen to maintain any X based packages to check to see if you have all the pic replacement libs set like you should. There are now a lot more than were in X 4.2. Thanks, Chris signature.asc Description: Digital signature
