Bug#251604: kopete: does not remeber passwords
On Sun, May 30, 2004 at 10:34:09AM +0100, David Pashley wrote: > Can you install kwalletmanager and see if your password is correctly > stored in the kwallet. I checked it, the wallet manager displays me a "kdewallet" which contains a "Kopete" folder. In that folder are 3 PAssword entries for my 3 Kopete accounts, which the correct passwords. The access control for the wallet allows konquerer access always, all other access is prompted. Currently if I start kopete, it prompts for it, when i first enter the password and activate "remeber password". But the rember password checkbox and the password itseld seems forgotten on next disconnect or start. Bug#252928: kdelibs4 must conflict with apollon (<< 0.9.4-2)
Package: kdelibs4 Version: 4:3.2.3-1 Severity: grave Installing kdelibs4 4:3.2.3-1 and apollon 0.9.4-1 causes apollon to segfault on startup. It might be interesing to investigate the exact cause for this problem, but it seems a conflict with apollon (<< 0.9.4-2) is at least a workaround - it will work for upgrades and make it impossible for the new kdelibs4 to enter testing before the new apollon (currently in incoming) which would break apollon in testing. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.7-rc2-mm2 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C Versions of packages kdelibs4 depends on: ii kdelibs-bin4:3.2.3-1 KDE core binaries ii kdelibs-data 4:3.2.3-1 KDE core shared data ii libart-2.0-2 2.3.16-5 Library of functions for 2D graphi ii libarts1 1.2.3-1 aRts Sound system ii libasound2 1.0.4-1 Advanced Linux Sound Architecture ii libaudio2 1.6c-4The Network Audio System (NAS). Bug#252888: Sudden crash of konsole
Package: konsole Version: 4:3.2.2-1 Severity: normal I've used konsole for a long time. It works good for me. However, today strange situation happened. I was logged on by ssh on remote machine. I was running shell script with a lot of output lines. While browsing the script output with ctrl-pgdn/ctrl-pgup konsole disappeared. I had two konsole sessions opened, so couldn't close both of them by accident. No bugreport window from KDE appeared (the one with Konqui, saying, that application did something wrong (SIG11 or sth)). I couldn't reproduce the problem (but will try to), but I am pretty sure that the bug exists somewhere, because: a) I didn't do anything special, which could cause observed behaviour b) I have no strange problems with system - everything works as expected So, while it is still easy to close the bug with UNREPRODUCIBLE tag, I'd like to give it a chance and try to find and fix it. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.5 Locale: LANG=pl_PL, LC_CTYPE=pl_PL (ignored: LC_ALL set to pl_PL) Versions of packages konsole depends on: ii kdelibs4 4:3.2.2-2 KDE core libraries ii libart-2.0-2 2.3.16-5 Library of functions for 2D graphi ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-13 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libfam0c102 2.7.0-5client library to control the FAM ii libgcc1 1:3.3.3-9 GCC support library ii libice6 4.3.0.dfsg.1-4 Inter-Client Exchange library ii libpng12-01.2.5.0-6 PNG library - runtime ii libqt3c102-mt 3:3.2.3-2 Qt GUI Library (Threaded runtime v ii libsm64.3.0.dfsg.1-4 X Window System Session Management ii libstdc++51:3.3.3-9 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libx11-6 4.3.0.dfsg.1-4 X Window System protocol client li ii libxext6 4.3.0.dfsg.1-4 X Window System miscellaneous exte ii libxrender1 0.8.3-7X Rendering Extension client libra ii libxtst6 4.3.0.dfsg.1-4 X Window System event recording an ii xlibs 4.3.0.dfsg.1-4 X Window System client libraries m ii zlib1g1:1.2.1.1-3compression library - runtime -- no debconf information

Bug#252814: kmail: deletion via Trash foreign to IMAP, please support flagging Deleted
Package: kmail Version: 4:3.2.2-2 Severity: wishlist The default setup, where deleted messages are moved to a local trash folder, is quite countrary to the IMAP spirit as it means downloading the message to the local trash folder. An alternative (which I do in my setup) is to specify a remote trash folder, so that KMail can use IMAP message moving feature without the need to fetch the message. What I'd like to see instead as the default is flagging the messages I delete as "Deleted" using the IMAP flagging mechanism, and then having the deleted messages purged on exit (manually or automatically dependent on the user setup). This is the way it's done in Pine (the reference IMAP client) and, IIRC, in nsmail as well. I hope it is not difficult to implement as the deletion code already uses flagging messages deleted when they're moved away, and purges them when the move is completed, according to what I see in the IMAP intercepts. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.4.25-1-686 Locale: LANG=ru_RU.KOI8-R, LC_CTYPE=ru_RU.KOI8-R Versions of packages kmail depends on: ii kdebase-kio-plugins 4:3.2.2-1KDE I/O Slaves ii kdelibs44:3.2.2-2KDE core libraries ii ktnef 4:3.2.2-2KDE TNEF viewer ii libart-2.0-22.3.16-5 Library of functions for 2D graphi ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-12 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libfam0c102 2.7.0-5 client library to control the FAM ii libgcc1 1:3.3.3-9GCC support library ii libice6 4.3.0-7 Inter-Client Exchange library ii libjpeg62 6b-9 The Independent JPEG Group's JPEG ii libkcal24:3.2.2-2KDE calendaring library ii libkdenetwork2 4:3.2.2-2KDE Network library ii libkdepim1 4:3.2.2-2KDE PIM library ii libksieve0 4:3.2.2-2KDE mail/news message filtering li ii libmimelib1 4:3.2.2-2KDE mime library ii libpcre34.5-1.1 Perl 5 Compatible Regular Expressi ii libpng12-0 1.2.5.0-6PNG library - runtime ii libqt3c102-mt 3:3.2.3-2Qt GUI Library (Threaded runtime v ii libsm6 4.3.0-7 X Window System Session Management ii libstdc++5 1:3.3.3-6The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libx11-64.3.0-7 X Window System protocol client li ii libxext64.3.0-7 X Window System miscellaneous exte ii libxrender1 0.8.3-7 X Rendering Extension client libra ii xlibs 4.3.0-7 X Window System client libraries m ii zlib1g 1:1.2.1.1-3 compression library - runtime -- no debconf information
