Bug#274612: kmail no longer uses cryptplug
Package: kmail Version: 4:3.3.0-3 Severity: minor please dropt cryptmail from the Suggests: field of kmail, since it's no longer needed nor used to process signed/encrypted messages. thanks, -- Adeodato Simó EM: asp16 [ykwim] alu.ua.es | PK: DA6AE621 Listening to: Piano Magic - Certainty When you don't know what to do, walk fast and look worried.
Bug#274611: kleopatra needs gpgsm, not the whole gnupg2
Package: kleopatra Version: 4:3.3.0-3 Severity: wishlist after the latest kdepim upload, two things have happened: (a) the gnupg2 source package by Matthias Urlichs now generates a standalone gpgsm package (b) the gnupg2 source package has been uploaded to debian (is currently in NEW) this bug is a remainder to, when NEW processing for gnupg2 happens: 1. move back kleopatra from contrib to main 2. don't depend on gnupg2, but instead on gpgsm also, I think the dependency on gnupg-agent could/should be dropped (perhaps moved into kmail's suggests?). thanks, -- Adeodato Simó EM: asp16 [ykwim] alu.ua.es | PK: DA6AE621 Listening to: Piano Magic - Certainty When you don't know what to do, walk fast and look worried.

Bug#268804: kmail: Sub-Folders not highlighted as having unread mail - Fixed
The latest package seems to have fixed this bug, or at the very least it's fixed on the box that I reported this bug from. If no one else has seen this bug recently then I'm happy for it to be closed. Thanks for the great work guys. Grahame
Bug#269789: acknowledged by developer (Bug#269789: fixed in kdepim 4:3.3.0-3)
Just a little note about /usr/share/doc/kleopatraREADME.Debian. Due to some recent changes in smurf's recommended debian repository, line: apt-get update && apt-get install gnupg2 gnupg-agent dirmngr should be apt-get update && apt-get install gnupg2 gnupg-agent dirmngr gpgsm to install gpgsm, so gpgme configure script detects it, and compiles with S/MIME support. which KDE for sarge?
Hello, can somebody tell me the actual decission about which KDE is planed for sarge? At the 2004-09-22: "The #3 blocker, kdelibs 3.3, is still not being considered as a candidate for sarge." http://lists.debian.org/debian-devel-announce/2004/09/msg5.html but one day later 2004-09-23: "Steve Langasek asked me to make sure that KDE 3.3.0 would be ready for possible inclusion in the Sarge release." http://lists.debian.org/debian-qt-kde/2004/09/msg00240.html I'm asking if I should update kde-i18n 3.2.3 (big package!) for this request #274343 via testing-proposed-updates or when 3.3 is the decission to work on kde-i18n 3.3.1 which will be tagged today (http://developer.kde.org/development-versions/kde-3.3-release-plan.html). thx. -- Noèl Köthe Debian GNU/Linux, www.debian.org signature.asc Description: Dies ist ein digital signierter Nachrichtenteil

You may safely assume that - I haven't seen the crashing bug since upgrade of kdebase and kdelibs. That is, until: > > let me ask: what "audio device" is arts using? in case you're using > "Autoselect", _perhaps_ the selection code between 3.3.0 and 3.3.0a > changed and it selects OSS instead of ALSA (that's a very wild guess). > > in case you're not using alsa, could you please select it and do > several trials to see if it happens? Your guess may be wild, but it does hit the mark. I am using Autoselect (I don't know how to see what the autoselect function ends up selecting). When I change the setting to use ALSA explicitly, the crashing bug is back with a vengeance. (The setting is KDE Control Center/Sound & Multimedia/Sound System/ Hardware.) > > thanks in advance, > > -- > Adeodato Simó > EM: asp16 [ykwim] alu.ua.es | PK: DA6AE621 > > Any life, no matter how long and complex it may be, is made up of a > single moment: the moment in which a man finds out, once and for all, > who he is. > -- Jorge Luis Borges > Peder Chr.
