Bug#274612: kmail no longer uses cryptplug

2004-10-02 Thread Adeodato Simó
Package: kmail
Version: 4:3.3.0-3
Severity: minor

please dropt cryptmail from the Suggests: field of kmail, since it's
no longer needed nor used to process signed/encrypted messages.

  thanks,

Bug#274611: kleopatra needs gpgsm, not the whole gnupg2

2004-10-02 Thread Adeodato Simó
Package: kleopatra
Version: 4:3.3.0-3
Severity: wishlist

after the latest kdepim upload, two things have happened:

(a) the gnupg2 source package by Matthias Urlichs now generates a
standalone gpgsm package

(b) the gnupg2 source package has been uploaded to debian (is
currently in NEW)

this bug is a remainder to, when NEW processing for gnupg2 happens:

1. move back kleopatra from contrib to main
2. don't depend on gnupg2, but instead on gpgsm

also, I think the dependency on gnupg-agent could/should be dropped
  (perhaps moved into kmail's suggests?).

  thanks,

there is KDE_LANG (as seen in [1], url which could use some publicity,

Bug#274608: kmail won't connect to cached-imap accounts

2004-10-02 Thread kyle
Package: kmail
Version: 4:3.3.0-3
Severity: normal

kmail won't to cached-imap accounts; when I launch it I get this errors
on the terminal

$ kmail

Klauncher devolvió: Protocolo desconocido 'newimap'.

Exporting LC_ALL=C doesn't make kmail complain in English so here's a
(inaccurate) translation:

kmail: ERROR: couldn't create slave : Impossible to create I/O slave:
Klauncher answered: Unknown protocol 'newimap'.

Bug#268804: kmail: Sub-Folders not highlighted as having unread mail - Fixed

2004-10-02 Thread Grahame White
The latest package seems to have fixed this bug, or at the very least it's
fixed on the box that I reported this bug from.

If no one else has seen this bug recently then I'm happy for it to be
closed.

Thanks for the great work guys.

Grahame

Bug#269789: acknowledged by developer (Bug#269789: fixed in kdepim 4:3.3.0-3)

2004-10-02 Thread Felipe Morales Moreno
Just a little note about /usr/share/doc/kleopatraREADME.Debian. Due to some
recent changes in smurf's recommended debian repository, line:
apt-get update && apt-get install gnupg2 gnupg-agent dirmngr
should be
apt-get update && apt-get install gnupg2 gnupg-agent dirmngr gpgsm
to install gpgsm, so gpgme configure script detects it, and compiles with
S/MIME support.

Bug#274524: juk: Add support for AAC/M4A

2004-10-02 Thread Daniel Frank
Package: juk
Version: 4:3.3.0-1
Severity: wishlist

I think AAC/M4A support should be added. Noatun already plays these
files so I guess it should be easy to implement.

which KDE for sarge?

2004-10-02 Thread Noèl Köthe
Hello,

can somebody tell me the actual decission about which KDE is planed for
sarge?
At the 2004-09-22:
"The #3 blocker, kdelibs 3.3, is still not being considered as a
candidate for sarge."
http://lists.debian.org/debian-devel-announce/2004/09/msg5.html
but one day later 2004-09-23:
"Steve Langasek asked me to make sure that KDE 3.3.0 would be ready for
possible inclusion in the Sarge release."
http://lists.debian.org/debian-qt-kde/2004/09/msg00240.html

I'm asking if I should update kde-i18n 3.2.3 (big package!) for this
request #274343 via testing-proposed-updates or when 3.3 is the
decission to work on kde-i18n 3.3.1 which will be tagged today
(http://developer.kde.org/development-versions/kde-3.3-release-plan.html).

thx.

Bug#266760: kde: kde crashes X when quitting

You may safely assume that - I haven't seen the crashing bug since upgrade
of kdebase and kdelibs. That is, until:

Your guess may be wild, but it does hit the mark. I am using Autoselect
(I don't know how to see what the autoselect function ends up selecting).
When I change the setting to use ALSA explicitly, the crashing bug is back
with a vengeance.

(The setting is KDE Control Center/Sound & Multimedia/Sound System/
Hardware.)
