Bug#350614: new kde-version 3.5.1 causes kcontrol to crash

2006-01-30 Thread Bastian Venthur
Subject: new kde-version 3.5.1 causes kcontrol to crash
Package: kcontrol
Version: 4:3.5.1-1
Severity: important

Hi with today's upgrade to 3.5.1 I noticed after the re-login that the
batterystatus icon which is supposed to be in the systray now is on the
top-left corner on the screen -- on top of all other windows.

I disabled the battery status and tried to re enable it again in the
appropiate KControl module. When I enter the battery module and click "reset
to defaults" (translated from german) -- KControl crashes. The backtrace is
attached below.

This report consits of two bugs:
 - the battery icon on the top-left corner of the screen
 - KControl crashes when trying to reset to defaults

Kind regards

Bastian

Bug#350589: Superkaramba shouldn't depend on XMMS

2006-01-30 Thread IƱaki
Package: superkaramba
Version: 4:3.5.1-1

Superkaramba in Debian depends on XMMS, but this dependencia is not necessary
and doesn't allow me to desinstall GTK in my computer.

You can see my wish to bugkde here:
   http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=118925
The response is "It depends upon the xmms libraries optionally [...] there is
an issue with the (rpm) packager to make it that strict."

I've seen this wish:
  http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=276587
Maybe the same as mine, but the author speaks about kopete, but the title is
"superkaramba depends on libgtk1.2 (via xmms)". Anyway kopete now doesn't
depend on XMMS, but Superkaramba does it.

Could you suggest XMMS only, instead of depending on it?

Bug#350561: ksysguard: changed order of sensors ignored

2006-01-30 Thread David Schmitt
Package: ksysguard
Version: 4:3.5.1-1
Severity: normal

Hi!

ksysguard ignores/reverts changing the order of sensors in the
Signal Plotter Settings dialog.

Steps to reproduce:

* Start ksysguard
* right click on one of the displays with multiple sensors (e.g.
  "Physical Memory")
* choose "Properties"
* switch to the "Sensors" tab
* Note down the list of current sensors (eg "Cached Memory", "Buffered
  Memory", "Application Memory")
* Change the order by selecting one of the items and using the "Move
  Up"/"Move Down" buttons
* Note down the list of changed sensors (eg "Buffered Memory", "Cached
  Memory", "Application Memory")
* Apply the changes by pressing the "OK" button.
* Reenter the "Signal Plotter Settings" dialog and recheck the order of
  sensors

On my installation (current sid), the order is not chaned from the
original one.

Regards, David
