Bug#342457: kicker: kicker crashes on system shutdown

2006-02-09 Thread Grégoire Druant
Package: kicker
Version: 4:3.5.1-1
Severity: important

When I reboot or shutdown my computer, it hangs on a kde message box
telling that kicker crashed with signal SIGABRT.
If I press enter it lets the computer power down.

You will find the debugguer output in attachment.

Oh, I hadn't this problem since recently, but I can't tell what
triggered it, the only change I made recently that could maybe affect
reboot and shutdown operation is to tell kdm I use lilo, but after test
that doesn't change anything.

Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

At least the package became unusable for me..:-)

Ripping is currently completely unfunctional in kaudiocreator.

Any attempt to rip an audio CD results in a window popping up with File or
directory does not exist /wav/Track 01.wav and then one error window per
each track being attempted to rip.

Here's my kaudiocreatorrc file...but I even tried to empty it and nothign
worked better...:). Changing the temp directory (and even disabling it) didn't
help either...

Turns out that this was a local issue with the CD-ROM drive and 2.6.13
kernel I was using at that moment.

Hence closing.

Apologies for the extra noiseI'm however puzzled by the very low
number of reactions to a RC bug

Bug#352086: libkjsembed-dev: libkjsembed.la depends on /usr/lib/libXft.la which no longer exists in debian

2006-02-09 Thread Vaclav Juza
Package: libkjsembed-dev
Version: 4:3.4.3-3
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

The file /usr/lib/libkjsembed.la has /usr/lib/libXft.la in the dependency_libs
line, but
this file is no longer shipped with libxft-dev since version 2.1.8.2-1.
This causes, that compiling a program using libtool, which depends on
libkjsembed fails with error
(for example new version of krusader):

libtool: link: cannot find the library `/usr/lib/libXft.la'

Removing the /usr/lib/libXft.la from the list in the dependency_libs helps
(at least for me, I have
no deep knowledge of libtool).

Bug#349316: Confirmed in kaddressbook-3.5.1-1

2006-02-09 Thread Georg Wittenburg
Hi!

I'm seeing the same bug in kaddressbook-3.5.1-1. It occurs about every time I
close Kontact.

I don't have initng installed, so it's probably unrelated.

Regards,
   Georg

Bug#351930: bug solved in Qt4.1.1

2006-02-09 Thread Patrick Aljord
Hey all,
I asked on qtcentre.org and after some investigation
http://www.qtcentre.org/forum/showthread.php?p=3569 we figured it was
a Qt bug. So I compiled Qt4.1.1 snapshot and it solved my problem, no
more segfault now. So I guess this bug can be closed as it's been
solved and as it wasn't a Debian bug in the first place :)
