Bug#437956: please mention that akregator supports Atom in description
Package: akregator Version: 4:3.5.5.dfsg.1-6 Severity: normal Although akregator supports Atom feeds, the short description suggests that it doesn't ("RSS feed aggregator for KDE"). Changing that to "KDE feed aggregator" or "KDE RSS and Atom feed aggregator" should solve this issue. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Bug#295582: marked as done (kopete: crashes when connecting through dante SOCKS proxy)
Your message dated Tue, 14 Aug 2007 20:05:06 +0200 with message-id <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> and subject line Bug#295582: About your bug 295582 "kopete: crashes when connecting through dante SOCKS proxy" in Debian BTS has caused the attached Bug report to be marked as done. Debian bug tracking system administrator (administrator, Debian Bugs database) --- Begin Message --- Package: kopete Version: 4:3.3.2-1 Severity: normal Kopete works perfectly on a direct connection. But when using a SOCKS proxy (dante-client/server combination here) set up in the KDE command center Kopete just crashes when connecting to either ICQ or Jabber. I haven't tried other services. Lurking on the interface I can see that no connection to the SOCKS proxy server is even tried. Using other proxy aware applications like Gaim works perfectly through dante. So it appears that the SOCKS connection is not even tried. This means that you claim that the problem has been dealt with. If this is not the case it is now your responsibility to reopen the Bug report if necessary, and/or fix the problem forthwith. (NB: If you are a system administrator and have no idea what I am talking about this indicates a serious mail system misconfiguration somewhere. Please contact me immediately.) Debian bug tracking system administrator (administrator, Debian Bugs database) --- Begin Message --- Package: kopete Version: 3.3.0-2 Kopete seems not to use the configured socks settings. Works fine in KDE 3.2.3 + koepte 3.2.3, but not in KDE 3.3.0. Neither ICQ nor AIM nor Jabber works using socks. Starts working if kopete is launced with the socks wrapper "runsocks kopete". Installed socks version: ii libsocks4 4.3.beta2-13 ii socks4-clients 4.3.beta2-13 Konqueror works fine with socks (http proxy disabled), so I guess this is a Kopete problem. -- lg, Chris --- End Message --- --- Begin Message --- On Fri, Jun 08, 2007 at 09:17:44AM -0400, Olivier Vitrat wrote: > Some time ago, you've reported bug number 295582 "kopete: crashes when > connecting through dante SOCKS proxy" to Debian's Bug Tracking System. > You can read the bug report at: > > http://bugs.debian.org/295582 I can't reproduce the problem in a recent version of the package. Bug#436560: fluxbox: Double entry in KDM menu
Just to add to the info, this occurs on both i386 and amd64. I also discovered that this does NOT occur with ratpoison, it only appeared once in my KDM menu.
