Package: kicker
Version: 4:3.5.4-2+b1
Severity: normal
File: kde

note: i have an old version of kde and cannot test a new one. i only
report because it might lead to a fix for other panel bugs.

"raise when the pointer touches the screen's", when checked, stops the
panel from unhiding when you touch the part of the screen closest to
the panel. this can lead to the user being unable to unhide.

to reproduce, set hide automatically and check that box.

thanks.

I suspend the system to disk from a KDE session, using

times, asking me if I want to activate sticky keys.

I never touched the shift key during the whole process though.

it resumes, the
session is locked, so I enter the password. When the session is

Bug#430020: Please, provide update info.

2008-02-24 Thread Raúl Sánchez Siles
  Hello Jon:

Thanks for you answers again. I think we are closing to the cause of this
bug.

At first view it looks like a Xorg DRI or GLX component bug, maybe already
solved in recent versions, but just to make sure we need some more info.

Could you please upgrade/install the following packages to testing or
unstable:

  · xserver-xorg-core
  · libgl1-mesa-glx
  · libgl1-mesa-dri
  · xserver-xorg-video-intel
  · libgl1-mesa-dri-dbg
  · libdrm2-dbg

Once you have all these, please, try to reproduce the problem. If you get to
reproduce it, it's quite likely that some crash dialogue appear and there you
could get a fresh backtrace.

  We will need that one.

  Thanks a lot.

The clock applet shows the timezone name "Berlin" instead of the date

*** Please type your report below this line ***
I have noticed this bug for the first time today, after upgrading to
3.3.7-2, however I don't know if it is related. I run java applet from
www.kurnik.pl games website. I clicked on a link (java was not in action
then, possibly), then Konqueror crashed. Callstack is printed below (important
part, I think).
For now, I am not sure if I will be able to reproduce it - if so, I will
drop a note for sure.

Please download the following file:
http://shezza.sdf-eu.org/Science Terms, 2007

It does exist, it's a PDF file however it doesn't have the .pdf
extension. Please don't add it for the purpose of reproducing this bug
and please don't change the name.

When it's in your folder of choice, hover the mouse over the file and it
will crash konqueror instantly.

I have reproduced this on two systems here, I'm hoping that you'll be
able to do the same.

I don't know if adding the pdf extension 'fixes' it, however it
shouldn't really crash konq in the first place.

The screensaver animation stops after a few seconds leaving a static image on
screen. The screensaver does
otherwise seem to run correctly since it is deactivated correctly on keyboard/
mouse activity.

Bug#465591:

2008-02-24 Thread Sheridan Hutchinson

Hi there,

I've tried to reproduce this on the two original machines that it was
noticed on and have had no success.

These machines have however recently had a range of updates applied to
them and it's quite conceivable that the problem has already be addressed.

My recommendation is that this bug be closed. I'll be sure to post a
new bug report if I encounter a replicable problem.

Sorry for any inconvenience.
