kgpg currently adds a shredder icon to your desktop to shred files,
however it does not add shred to the right click context menu
(servicemenu). I've attached a quick shred.desktop I've created. It
uses the trash_empty icon at the moment but it'd be nice if it had its
own icon (see bug #241633). Also, this servicemenu appears under the
Action sub menu. Anyone know how to get right under delete where it
belongs?

Todd

Read: http://bugs.kde.org/49479 for more info. But this basically won't fix,

Bug#522624: xinerama bug with latest kwin 3.5.10-1/3.5.10.dfsg.1-2

2009-04-05 Thread Justin Piszcz

Just to confirm, I have the same bug after running apt-get dist-upgrade
today, windows maximize incorrectly, xterms go to the wrong monitors, etc.

I could not reproduce it in my machine, but another member of the team could.
Do you have ttf-liberation fonts installed? If not, could you please install
them and check wheter it helps?

It could also be solved installing ttf-mscorefonts-installer, but note that
that package is in contrib, and the fonts may be non-free.

Seems that kpdf does the previewing using the selected printing device default
paper size. Please, try changing the default paper size to DL, which I believe
it's you case, and try visualizing it again, or printing to a file (in this
last case, the printo to PDF or ps options also have paper sizes).

Bug#522680: konsole: bitmap font unusable

2009-04-05 Thread Vladislav Kurz
Package: konsole
Version: 4:3.5.9.dfsg.1-6
Severity: normal

Hello,

I used konsole with the bitmap font once provided in xfons-konsole package.
After upgrade from etch to lenny I'm unable to use it. Even if i click the
Font/Install Bitmap... option and proceed. I can see the fonts in ~/.fonts,
I can use them with xterm -fn
-misc-console-medium-r-normal--16-160-72-72-c-80-iso10646-1
but konsole itself cannot find it, and neither can kde control center, or any

Can someone tell me what should I do to make KDE use fonts in ~/.fonts ?
