[Fwd: [Bug 133614] add caldav support for sharing calendars]

2010-02-25 Thread Andrew McMillan
Hi,

I'm the maintainer of DAViCal CalDAV server (well, also the upstream
author) and was wondering if anyone can look into this.

It would be great to have any Debian related issues sorted sooner,
rather than later :-)

If anyone is interested in testing this, I can provide diagnostic help
and access to a CalDAV server for testing purposes. I just don't have
the time to get into KDE and figure all that stuff out...

Thanks,
Andrew McMillan.

Hello,

when I try to download anything (e.g pdf files, images) with kget, the program
simply freezes right after finishing it. The only way I can reset kget is to
kill it from terminal.

I tried removing the configuration files in ~/.kde/share/apps/kget/
and ~/.kde/share/config/kgetrc but nothing changed.

When running kget in a terminal, I couldn't find any useful information.

Thank you.

Package: krfb
Version: 4:3.5.10-3
Severity: important

After taking remote control of this host using a VNC client and then
disconnecting, the host refuses further connections.
Looking at the host's screen reveals a KDE crash window that says krfb crashed
with sig6 SIGABRT.
I have tried several VNC clients but they are all causing the same behavior.
The krfb isn't run manually but as part of the KDE control center's
"Desktop Sharing" applet.
Closing the crash report window or running "pkill krfb" reopens the port.

Connecting and then not authenticating (cancelling the password prompt in
the client) also causes the same crash

Package: kpilot
Version: 4:3.5.8-1
Severity: important

I have been having this problem for a long time, through multiple versions
of kpilot and Debian. It's made my IBM WorkPad C3 (a rebranded Palm Vx, I
believe) almost unusable, especially since the internal battery ran down
recently and I had to re-sync everything with Kontact.

After this re-sync, which essentially wrote entirely new events to the
WorkPad, I was able to see exactly what was going on:
- Yesterday (Tuesday) I had a recurring monthly meeting (first Tuesday of
each month). It shows up on the WorkPad as being a recurring meeting on the
Wednesday but at the correct time.
- Thursday, I have a recurring monthly meeting (first Thursday of each
month) which again showed up a day late.
- A one-off event for this Friday showed up correctly.
- A recurring meeting on the second friday of each month showed up on the
second Saturday instead.

I have similar results for dates in February so this is not related to the
leap year. All my recurring events are showing up wrong while one-off
events show up correctly on the WorkPad. The recurring events seem to
calculate the day of week one day late then base the meeting date on that
bad date. This put my meeting for the second Friday 6 days early since the
month started on a Saturday.

Package: kpilot
Version: 4:3.5.7-4
Severity: important

Whenever I try to sync kpilot with my Palm Tungsten T or if I use the
configuration wizard to detect the handheld (thus trying to sync/communicate
with the Palm), kpilot crashes. No bug report is forthcoming from the KDE crash
handler - sorry.

/var/log/message shows that the device and symlink are bieng created properly
and I have confirmed this manually as well.

Hi

korgac is the thing that can alert you if you have set up events in korganizer
to do so.

We will happily provide a manpage if someone writes one.

I'm not able to forward from the floppy disk on the clock, how does it work?

You must send the 95-inch POP3 terminale over a ethernet printer of the
wordprocessor.
