The following is the stack trace, but the crash manager told me that it is probably not useful and that the stack frame might be corrupted: Eine korrekte Rückverfolgung ist nicht möglich. This is correct. Unfortunately, when Konqueror actually tries to access an URL with such an encoded string as a parameter, it will replace %u with %25u. Therefore, the server will merely decode '%25' to '%' and will leave 'u' as is. This is incorrect. This causes: - kpilotDaemon icon in system tray appear transparent (totally empty square) - KPilot stop with progress bar indicating 10% of sync (if kpilotDaemon is launched by kdeinit) - KPilot hang if kpilotDaemon was not previously launched and KPilot has to launch it And the "critical" issue: - Any other program which tries to contact kpilotDaemon hangs. For example: kdcop I can send straces or anything else you ask for. The only reason why I filed this bug critical is that it can make other packages hang, but I don't consider it a critical issue as I have not found any other program, apart from kdcop, hanging. Perhaps severity can be lowered, I don't know Debian policies about this type of bugs. So far so good. Unfortunately, the audio device is then unavailable until kget exits. This despite the fact my audio device supports multiple simultaneous streams (so normally multiple applications can play audio) and nothing else is holding the device. If another application is using the device when kget tries to play a sound, it doesn't seem to ever try again during that session. So, I guess kget tries to get exclusive control of the device. Is this a problem with libaudio? The net result is no quanta for KDE 4 users - unrelated to this is the fact we're unlikely to get a KDE 4 specific version of Quanta anytime soon. Solution - because Quanta 3.5.9 actually runs just fine under KDE 4 it's just a packaging problem, relating to the dependencies on a few packages that are nice to have, but not essential to run Quanta. The packages it complains about are kfilereplace, klinkstatus, and kommander - all of which are (now) versions 4:4.2.2-1 in unstable. RE: qt embedded for arm
You can re-build qt libraries for arm on Linux. I do not think there are pre-built binaries for arm. Even there is one, it may not be suitable for your board. To re-build it, you can download the qt source from trolltech's website. As for which version to use, it entirely depends on your application. If you develop new applications from scratch, you can use the latest release. The problem happens *exactly* in this order: 1) Disconnect (kill pppd). 2) Wait for daemon to completely exit (watching syslog) 3) Once down, remove USB cable. 4) Keyboard no longer works. Interestingly, even a USB keyboard will not work once this happens. I am running an IBM t23 thinkpad. When this happens, the *ONLY* way to get back into the machine is restart. Also note, even if you plug a USB keyboard in AFTER this has happened, you still cannot use it. Re: qt embedded for arm
I doubt whether QT is supported across linux flavours. I think you will have to download the code and then compile from sources on/for debian. qt embedded for arm
Hi! I have small experience in writting code for arm processors. Now I want to write a small application using Qt GUI for a arm9 processor. I have problems to compile the source for Qt and I want to know whether I need to compile it or if is everything available for doing that. If I need to compile it can anyone tell me which packages I need. If everything available can anyone tell me wich packages I need CU Michael -- ,''`. : :' : Michael Ott `. `'e-mail: michael at king-coder dot de `- signature.asc Description: Digital signature
