Review Request: libdebconf-kde

2010-07-22 Thread dantti85-dev
Hi,
libdebconf-kde is a lib to show package
dialogs on Debian based distros, meant
to fix KPackageKit to work ok on those
systems.
It doesn't require any distro specific
package just kdelibs. So if you can please
just review the code :D

If you want to test you run ./debkonf
and export the variables printed by debkonf app
where you run apt-get or aptitude

Bug#589957: ksnapshot: crashes when using alt-tab and drag-n-drop

2010-07-22 Thread Andras Veres-Szentkiralyi
Package: ksnapshot
Version: 4:4.4.4-1+b1
Severity: normal

If alt-tab is pressed after dragging the image from KSnapshot (with left mouse
button still pressed), KSnapshot crashes. This behaviour can be
reproduced, I attached a backtrace with libqt4-dbg installed.

This bug renders the drag-n-drop functionality of KSnapshot partly
unusable since one can only drag the image to windows that are on the
screen at the time (so no alt-tab-ing is needed).

Bug#589941: Kmail spell checker is not spellchecking the subject line

2010-07-22 Thread Nancy Anthracite
Package: kmail

Version: 4.4.4.1

I have reported this to the Kontact maintainers. It is not a serious bug.

To reproduce it, begin composing an email and put a spelling error in the
subject line. From the tools menu, invoke the spell checker. The error will
not be recognized.

Bug#589940: Kaddressbook changes not accessible from Kmail Composer

2010-07-22 Thread Nancy Anthracite
Package: kontact

Version: 4.4.4.1

When changes are made in kaddressbook to mail lists or addresses or new
entries are added, the email addresses are not accessible to composer.

To reproduce it, add a new entry to the Contacts in kaddressbook. Begin to
compose and email and put the contact's name that you just entered in To. The
contact's email will not appear in the drop-down list.

Or

Add a new address to a mailing list that you have been using recently. Call
up the mailing list in To: The added email address will not appear

The kontact folks are aware of this problem, but I want to be sure it gets
fixed before Squeeze is released as it is a major issue.

Bug#589938: Autosave retrieving emails being composed when kmail closes

2010-07-22 Thread Nancy Anthracite
Package: kmail

Version: 4.4.4.1

Kmail has this bug reported and is aware, but is something that needs to be
fixed before Squeeze is released as it is serious.

To reproduce the bug, begin composing an email and then close Kontact. When
Kontact is reopened and kmail is displayed, the email should be there in
available by clicking on kontact in the bar at the bottom of your screen, but
it will not be there.

The email will have been saved in ~/.kde/share/apps/kmail/autosave/cur

This is a known plasma bug. It works fine with the old (kde 4.0)
knotify popups and with gnome's notification-daemon. Unfortunately I
cannot find the upstream bug number right now, but I am certain that
it has been reported upstream. Rumor has it that the plasma
notification system has been polished in 4.5 and that such layout bugs
have been fixed... I will check it with 4.5 when it has been packaged.
