Bug#649443: soprano: sesame2 backend does not build -- lacks non-free .jar and .class

2011-11-20 Thread Dave Anglin
Source: soprano
Version: 2.6.0+dfsg.1-4
Severity: serious
Justification: fails to build from source (but built successfully in the past)

My source package build because the package does not include the following
non-free components:

openrdf-sesame-2.2.4-onejar.jar, slf4j-api-1.5.5.jar, slf4j-simple-1.5.5.jar
and SopranoSesame2Wrapper.class. I installed the .jar's from the net but
the SopranoSesame2Wrapper.class is not generated. Possibly, there is a
missing dependency on openjdk.

I hacked CMakeLists.txt to disable building the sesame2 backend. This
enabled a successful build.

Given that this package is needed to build kde4libs and that the missing files
are non-free, I think disabling the sesame2 backend should be default.

Bug#639455: Stack trace

2011-11-20 Thread André Offringa
Here an addendum, since it still seems to happen regularly. I have
created a debug version of kdevelop and ran kdevelop in gdb. Below are
what seemed to be the most important three stacktraces, that -- I assume
-- imply a deadlock situation in Duchain.

I made the stacktrace when the background parser appeared to hang (i.e.,
not progress anymore), and then tried to open a file by double clicking
one in the file browser, at which point the whole gui hangs.

When configuring the network settings in kcontrol, a dialog pops up
telling me that my system is currently unsupported and that I may choose
one the supported platforms. These include "Debian GNU/Linux 5.0 Lenny"
and "Debian GNU/Linux Testing/Unstable", but mine is not detected as
either of these?!

Bug#511302: marked as done (knetworkconf unable to carry out basic interface operations)

Package: knetworkconf
Version: 4:3.5.9-2
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

knetworkconf is now unable to change the state of network interfaces
thus becoming useless for most practical uses. Upon
request for enabling/disabling an interface knetworkconf invariabily
displays the message "There was an error changing the device's state. You will
have to do it manually."

I'm reporting this bug against knetworkconf because I'm still able
to perform these operations using the shell commands. I'm observing
the same problem on an amd64 debian installation.
