Bug#672571: Workaround
I ran into this as well upon dist-upgrade. My current "workaround" was to remove python4-kde package and all its dependents. Not sure if this bug should be reassigned to that pkg. Anyway, plasma seems working fine now. Gergo

Bug#672684: Failed to compile kdevelop4 from source because of the same issue
Hi! I'm not able to compile KDevelop4 with Debian Testing (workaround below) Here is a complete CMakeList.txt to reproduce the issue. #> cat CMakeLists.txt project(demo) cmake_minimum_required(VERSION 2.8) find_package(Qt4 COMPONENTS QtWebKit REQUIRED ) message(STATUS "Test status" ${QT_QTWEBKIT_FOUND} ${QT_QTWEBKIT_INCLUDE_DIR} ${QT_QTWEBKIT_LIBRARY}) Looks like the issue is related to multi-arch support in libqtwebkit-dev because libQtWebKit.so is missed from /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu #> dpkg -L libqtwebkit-dev | grep '/usr/lib' /usr/lib /usr/lib/pkgconfig /usr/lib/pkgconfig/QtWebKit.pc /usr/lib/libQtWebKit.prl /usr/lib/qt4 /usr/lib/qt4/plugins /usr/lib/qt4/plugins/designer /usr/lib/qt4/plugins/designer/libqwebview.so /usr/lib/libQtWebKit.so #> dpkg -l libqtwebkit-dev ii libqtwebkit-dev 2.2.0-3 Web content engine library for Qt - development files The following workaround 'fixes' the issue until the package is really fixed: #> sudo ln -s /usr/lib/libQtWebKit.so /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu Hopefully it helps to fix the issue. Package: kmail Version: 4:4.4.11.1+l10n-1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer, If I want to use a mailing list the email from the SMTP server of the provider again sent back to me, because an unknown email address is entered in the "To" field. In the "To" field is not used the email addresses of the mail hub, but the name of the mail hub. example: "Friendlist" includes: michael...@domain-one.de and andrea...@domain-two.de Note the error of the SMTP server includes in the "To" box the following: Friendlist@ The mail delivery to individual email addresses work correctly. problem with libqtwebkit-dev in debian testing
dear debian qt maintainers, can anybody check http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=672684 i'm pretty sure that there is a packaging problem somewhere (since it suddenly happened on both of my machines after apt-get updating!) but i may be doing something wrong or there may be a workaround that would allow me to continue my work... in short: i can't compile scribus 1.5svn anymore because it does not find webkit for its help system. can anybody look into this? greetings a.l.e -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-qt-kde-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
