problem with libqtwebkit-dev in debian testing

2012-05-15 Thread a.l.e

dear debian qt maintainers,

can anybody check
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=672684

i'm pretty sure that there is a packaging problem somewhere (since it
suddenly happened on both of my machines after apt-get updating!) but i
may be doing something wrong or there may be a workaround that would
allow me to continue my work...

in short: i can't compile scribus 1.5svn anymore because it does not
find webkit for its help system.

can anybody look into this?

greetings
a.l.e

Bug#672983: qtcreator: QtCreator crashes when creating new project

2012-05-15 Thread Sam Cranford

Dear Maintainer,

On two different debian systems (one wheezy i386, one Crunchbang amd64), when I

Bug#672992: kmail: Mailing lists are not resolved

2012-05-15 Thread Michael Singer
Package: kmail
Version: 4:4.4.11.1+l10n-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

If I want to use a mailing list the email from the SMTP server of the provider
again sent back to me,
because an unknown email address is entered in the "To" field. In the "To"
field is not used the email
addresses of the mail hub, but the name of the mail hub.

example:
"Friendlist" includes: michael...@domain-one.de and andrea...@domain-two.de

Note the error of the SMTP server includes in the "To" box the following:
Friendlist@

The mail delivery to individual email addresses work correctly. All my scale
mailing return the same error.
I can reproduce the error on multiple systems in kmail.

If you need further information I can supply you with more.

Regards
Michael Singer

appmenu-qt and plasma-widget-menubar

2012-05-15 Thread Ritesh Raj Sarraf
Hello Folks (fathi, modax, pino, sune, eshat, and others whose name i
don't recollect right now)

I would like to see appment-qt and plasma-widget-menubar into unstable.
They are already in experimental. Should I go ahead with the upload or
do you want me to hold it ?

This is the dependency list for plasma-widget-menubar:

Maintainer: Debian KDE Extras Team
Architecture: amd64
Depends: libc6 (>= 2.2.5), libdbusmenu-qt2 (>= 0.3.2), libgcc1 (>=
1:4.1.1), libkdecore5 (>= 4:4.3.4), libkdeui5 (>= 4:4.3.4), libkio5 (>=
4:4.3.4), libplasma3 (>= 4:4.4.95), libqjson0 (>= 0.7.1), libqt4-dbus
(>= 4:4.8), libqt4-network (>= 4:4.8), libqt4-svg (>= 4:4.8), libqt4-xml
(>= 4:4.8), libqtcore4 (>= 4:4.8), libqtgui4 (>= 4:4.8), libstdc++6 (>=
4.1.1)

and this one for appmenu-qt:

Maintainer: Debian KDE Extras Team
Architecture: amd64
Depends: libc6 (>= 2.2.5), libdbusmenu-qt2 (>= 0.9.0), libgcc1 (>=
1:4.1.1), libqt4-dbus (>= 4:4.8), libqt4-xml (>= 4:4.8), libqtcore4 (>=
4:4.8), libqtgui4 (>= 4:4.8), libstdc++6 (>= 4.1.1)

With Qt 4.8 in unstable, all the build-deps for appmenu is satisfied.
The same is for the plasma widget.

Bug#672684: Failed to compile kdevelop4 from source because of the same issue

2012-05-15 Thread Eugene Agafonov
Hi!

I'm not able to compile KDevelop4 with Debian Testing (workaround below)

Here is a complete CMakeList.txt to reproduce the issue.

#> cat CMakeLists.txt
project(demo)
cmake_minimum_required(VERSION 2.8)

find_package(Qt4 COMPONENTS QtWebKit REQUIRED )
message(STATUS "Test status" ${QT_QTWEBKIT_FOUND}
${QT_QTWEBKIT_INCLUDE_DIR} ${QT_QTWEBKIT_LIBRARY})

Looks like the issue is related to multi-arch support in libqtwebkit-dev
because libQtWebKit.so is missed from /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu

#> dpkg -L libqtwebkit-dev  | grep '/usr/lib'
/usr/lib
/usr/lib/pkgconfig
/usr/lib/pkgconfig/QtWebKit.pc
/usr/lib/libQtWebKit.prl
/usr/lib/qt4
/usr/lib/qt4/plugins
/usr/lib/qt4/plugins/designer
/usr/lib/qt4/plugins/designer/libqwebview.so
/usr/lib/libQtWebKit.so

#> dpkg -l libqtwebkit-dev
ii  libqtwebkit-dev   2.2.0-3
Web content engine library for Qt - development files

The following workaround 'fixes' the issue until the package is really
fixed:
#> sudo ln -s /usr/lib/libQtWebKit.so /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu

Hopefully it helps to fix the issue.

BR, Eugene Agafonov

Bug#672571: Workaround

2012-05-15 Thread Gergely Nagy
I ran into this as well upon dist-upgrade.
My current "workaround" was to remove python4-kde package and all its
dependents.
Not sure if this bug should be reassigned to that pkg.
Anyway, plasma seems working fine now.
