This patch is wrong, it doesn't fix anything, just hardcodes some values.

The bug is in Qt, it must be properly fixed there.

On arm arch machines, the QWIDGETSIZE_MAX and QWIDGETSIZE_MAX return unexpected 
values
in /plasma/corona.cpp.  This affects the draw order of kde4 plasma desktop 
elements making
them very difficult and in some cases impossible to use.

This bug can be seen by trying to add a plasma-desktop widget in the K desktop
 environment on an arm based machine (Adaptiva Parallella in my case). The 
desktop widgets
cannot be dragged from the selection drawer to the desktop and moving the 
slider is very
difficult.

This relates to the upstream bug #282975 on bugs.kde.org

I applied this patch to the debian kde4libs sources and built a new .deb, and

Well, we have multiple things to look for here:

- From which version of Qt Creator did you upgrade? Was your previous version 
using Qt5?

- Did you *just* upgrade qtcreator or did you do a system upgrade?

The log is fairly obvious in that it's an OpenGL problem. If you switched to 
the Qt5 version, it could be the fact that it requires better OpenGL support.

Except you can give us some other hint that this could really be a creator 
problem I'll close this bug soon.

Hello,

I have some trouble with proxy and kontact/akonadi.

Since last week, it seems using HTTP_PROXY and HTTPS_PROXY env var to do 
connection to IMAP and SMTP server, bypassing the KDE proxy configuration (auto 
config URL or no proxy).
And it doesn't use the NO_PROXY env, so all my IMAP and SMTP connections fail.

I have to start akonadi and konsole for a tty after unsetting *_PROXY env var 
to be able to retrieve and send mail.

(My *_PROXY env var are set in ~/.zshrc)
